I did that a lot over the months that I read Jacqueline in Paris. I love when the choice and arrangement of words are so beautiful they make you ache. I had to stop, take a moment to be emotional. And discovering this book within a couple of months of my return was a gift.Īnn Mah has truly captured the spirit and beauty and magic (I hate that I keep using that word, but it is so apropos) of the City of Light. ![]() It was during that sojourn that I made a promise to myself that one day I would be back to live. I spent my junior year in Paris many, many moons ago, and it remains to this year the most magical year of my life. I knew I would love it from the time I read the premise. ![]() ![]() It was during that sojourn that I made a promise to myse I savored this book. 1 of 5 stars 2 of 5 stars 3 of 5 stars 4 of 5 stars 5 of 5 stars ![]()
